    Step 1 :  

    The given measurements are,


    u=30m/s, v=?, s=?, a=3m/s2, t=5s



    Step 2 :  

    The kinematics equations for final velocity ans displacement is given by,


    v=u+at

    s=ut+$\frac{at^{2}}{2}$




    v=30+3×5=30+15=45m/s


    S=30×5+$\frac{3×5^{2}}{2}$




    s=150+$\frac{75}{2}$




    s=150+37.5=187.5m



    Answer  :  

    Final velocity, v=45m/s

     

     

     

    Displacement, s=187.5m



  2. Determine the displacement and final velocity at 10s of a moving body whose initial velocity is 20m/s moving with an acceleration of 5m/s2?


    Step 1 :  

    The given measurements are,


    u=20m/s, v=?, s=?, a=5m/s2, t=10s



    Step 2 :  

    The kinematics equations for final velocity ans displacement is given by,


    v=u+at

    s=ut+$\frac{at^{2}}{2}$




    v=20+5×10=20+50=70m/s


    S=20×10+$\frac{5×10^{2}}{2}$




    s=200+$\frac{500}{2}$




    s=200+250=450m



    Answer  :  

    Final velocity, v=70m/s

     

     

     

    Displacement, s=450m
