    The given:

    Velocity (v) = 50.0 m/s


    centripetal force (f) = ?



    Step 2 :  

    Substitute the given values in the formula.


    Centripetal Force :


    f = mv2 / r .


    f = (1,250 * (50.0)2) / 2.00



    Answer  :  

    centripetal force (f) = 1250 N .



  2. A ball of mass 200 gram is revolving around the circular path of the radius 7 cm. It completes one revolution in 10 seconds, and then find the magnitude and the direction of the centripetal force acting on the ball.


    Step 1 :  

    The given :


    mass (m) = 200 gm = 0.2 kg


    radius (r) = 7 cm = 0.07 m


    Time period of revolution = 10 seconds.


    We know that


    W = 2∏ / T


    W = (2 * 3.14) / 10


    W = 0.628 radians per second



    Step 2 :  

    Centripetal Force :


    F = m * r * w2 .


    F = 0.2 * 0.07 * (0.628)2 .



    Answer  :  

    F = 0.00552 N
